iPhone 3G is coming

Apple iPhone 3G

In another 2 days, Apple‘s iPhone 3G will officially be launched in Singapore by SingTel at the hello! ComCentre near Somerset MRT station at the stroke of midnight. SingTel will be the first local mobile operator selected by Apple to release this revolutionary gadget.

According to the pricing of the iPhone 3G on Singtel’s iPhone 3G microsite, it will cost S$698 (8GB) and S$848 (16GB) if you will sign up for the cheapest plan available (iOne Plus @ S$25.68/month). Check out the rest of the price plans available on their website. There are also 3 new plans released by SingTel today.

If you haven’t pre-registered with SingTel to get the highly-anticipated phone, chances are you probably have to wait awhile longer as those who pre-registered earlier in June will be given priority access for a limited period after launch. Also, SingTel customer with an existing plan can purchase the iPhone 3G by signing a new 2-years contract which will run concurrently with their existing contract term.
