UNIQLO arrives in Singapore

Finally, UNIQLO – Japan’s número uno casual-wear retail giant arrives on our shores yesterday. UNIQLO already has stores internationally such as France, UK, USA, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, and now, Singapore. That makes us the 8th country in the world to carry this Japanese brand. Very auspicious indeed.

I will definitely make my way down soon to Tampines 1 – the newest sub-urban mall in the east part of Singapore. Other than UNIQLO, Tampines 1 houses famous international fashion brands like Esprit, Springfield, Promod, Topshop and Topman. Definitely more shopping headaches for those staying in the east. Hope UNIQLO or Topman will make their ways to Causeway Point, or somewhere nearer to the north.

There will be a 10-day opening celebration promotion from 9-19 April. So get your butts down but be prepared for the crowd-madness, it’s Singapore afterall!

p.s. Check out the spelling error in the image above, it’s pity they can’t spell Tampines correctly. Probably done back in Japan.
